There's so much to do, so much to see and enjoy, and so much to look forward to!
There is of course Fall foliage:
There's beautiful Fall flowers:
There's Fall attire:
And there's pumpkin pie and pumpkin cookies!
There's jack-o-lanterns and candy corn!
There's fresh farm stands and bushels of apples:
There's warm soups and hearty stews:
There's crusty breads:
There's warm apple cider:
And there's Pumpkin Spice Latte! Yummy!
There's raking leaves:
And there's jumping in leaves!
There are kids in costumes!
There's decorating the house in it's Fall Finest!
And at the heart of it all, there are Blessings to be so thankful for:

ReplyDeleteHere we can decorate and watch for the signs that fall may be coming. This year, it's late!!! Our temps are in the upper 80s and 90s, but, if you look carefully, you might find a leaf changing color. It's still too warm for those tasty soups and stews...my mouth is watering for these hearty foods. But...I am not complaining. Come winter when I read about all the snow and COLD temps in other parts of the country, I will be walking the beach in jeans and a sweater and giving thanks that God has seen fit to keep me planted in FL.
Enjoy a cup of cider for me!!!

Great post, Eileen! Those are all the things I enjoy about fall. We've had some cool fall weather here, which has been nice. The trees are starting to turn color. I made several pots of homemade soup last week and have some chili cooking in the crock pot as I am writing this. I love this time of year!

What a beautiful post!! I loved all the pictures...Sam absolutely loved the picture of the pumpkin pie..(he loves pumpkin pie...it's his favorite dessert)He loved the crust leaves on the edges :)
