Change Of Season ~ Change Of Wardrobe

Summer garments...

...of pale pink and cream floral patterns, and the many shades of cool blue...

...give way to...

Fall attire!

It's fun to dress the house in plaids, (and pumpkins, and scarecrows, and squirrels, and leaves) and all the Autumn spice colors!

  7. Hi Eileen~
Love the transformation to fall...especially the "Welcome" pillow.

I am looking forward to a temperature change...soon. It's 12:45pm and still 80 degrees! Not that I am complaining...it's still great to be on the beach! But I would just love to open up the house for a day or so...

  10. Eileen...I love your switch for the fall season! The little "nut" pillow is very cute! I think we need a few of those here! :) Isn't it so much fun to decorate for the seasons/holidays? I love it!
P.S. I went back a few posts and showed my hubs your pix of Central Park! We "oohed" and "awwed" at them! :)

  15. I like that you are still using your porch in the fall. Our hammock is full of leaves and most things are brought in. The grill is about the only thing that is still used year round. I like the pumpkin pillow.

  19. Hello Eileen Darling, your fall colors are simply lovely. I am not a fall person or winter for that matter. I love spring and summer and the pastels. I have been contemplating changing my blog background and colors to reflect the change in season…but between you and I , it simply isn’t me so I can’t do it. Even my cottage stays pastely all autumn and winter long…what can I say, I love pinks and blues.

Take care darling and thank you so much for your daily visits.

  30. What a wonderful porch! I've always wanted cushioned chairs and couches on my porch - still hoping. One question - how do you keep them from getting dirty and wet and all from inclement weather?

  33. Hello Eileen,
Your porch is so warm and welcoming! It looks charming in every season, but the Fall theme is probably my favorite of the three images you shared. What a cozy place it must be for sipping tea on a crisp Autumn afternoon!

    Hope your weekend goes well.
